Sally Crowe
Sally retired from facilitating and project managing Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in the UK/international health and social care and research sector after 30 years. Her special interests were in; research prioritization, reviews of research, research outcomes and communicating research.
Despite not being a researcher or an academic, Sally has (co) written over 45 published articles and one book. Sally now contributes to health and social care research from a public perspective with lived experience and interests in salivary gland cancer, women’s health, Parkinson’s, Dementia, and research methods.
Sally is a qualified Coach and enjoys working with mainly women in transition in their lives, for example returning to work after childbirth, career transition, mid-life, and retirement. She enjoys volunteering, wild swimming (and in a pool), hill walking, travel and crafting.
