SGC Travel Grants
Apply for funding to travel to a conference or workshop. We welcome all applications that are aligned with our strategy.
Salivary Gland Cancer UK (SGC UK) is pleased to announce a conference/workshop travel grant, offering up to £500 to support those who not otherwise receive funding to attend such events e.g. medical undergraduates, allied healthcare professionals and patient advocates.
We accept applications all through 2025 and the criteria for application and requirements are set out below:
Salivary Gland Cancer UK conference/workshop travel grant policy
Funding amount: Up to £500
1. To be eligible for consideration for funding from SGC UK, the proposed conference/workshop that you are requesting the travel grant for must clearly have a salivary gland cancer focus, component or be of direct relevance to salivary gland cancers.
2. Grants are not limited to travel to and from the UK, provided your travel and attendance can demonstrate a benefit for UK patients.

This includes developing our knowledge of the basic biology of these cancers, as well as their diagnosis and treatment, and living with and beyond salivary gland cancers. As a charity, we have developed our core 8 aims using patient-clinician co-production. Your travel should support one or more of these aims and we ask in your application that you demonstrate the links to these aim/s, where applicable.
Our aims can be found here: Our 8 Aims - Salivary Gland Cancer UK
